Learn Turkish Lesson 3 - Frequently Used Sentences (DAY 2)

DAY 2 Merhaba arkadaşlar. I hope you are following my lessons from Lesson 1 (DAY 1). Today is the Second day of Lesson 3. and we will continue from where we left. So Let's Start........... Remember we are learning Frequently used sentences. Maybe: We use the word, ''Maybe'' Frequently and it's also important to learn it How to say in Turkish. So I will give you two ways of saying this one word. First one is, ''Belki'' it means, ''Maybe or perhaps'' . when someone asks something and you are not sure about it, then you say, ''Belki'' .  And the other way to say it is, ''Olabilir'' , it also can means ''Maybe or Perhaps'' . I'm not saying that these are the only way to say ''Maybe'' in Turkish. You can use other words with a little twisting. But these are most common. That's why I prefer you use these two words. It's good:

Learn Turkish Lesson 2 - Introduction (Giriş) DAY 4 LAST DAY

DAY 4

Welcome back friends, In Today's, we will learn ''How to ask Address'' in the Turkish language. and a little extra words. So I hope you have your glass of Coffee or Tea or anything else which you like to drink. OK😊

What's your address?

In order to ask this question you can use the following phrase:
''Adresiniz ne?'' - ''What's your address?'' (formal)
''Adresin ne?''    - ''What's your address?'' (informal)

''Adres'' = ''Address''  ''iniz'' = ''suffix of second person'' (formal and Plural)
'' in ''     = ''suffix of second person'' (informal and singular)
'' ne ''     = '' What''

I have cut in parts to explain what they really mean! OK😉

To answer you can say, ''Adresim..... your address'' it means
'' My address .......''

Example:
'' Adresim, ikinci sokakta şehir merkezinde İstanbul Türkiye ''
'' My address is, second street downtown Istanbul Turkiye ''

'' Adresim ''         -   '' My address ''
'' ikinci ''              -   '' Second ''
'' Sokakta ''          -   '' At street ''
'' Şehir ''              -   '' City ''
'' Merkezinde ''    -  '' In downtown ''
'' İstanbul ''          -   '' Istanbul ''
'' Türkiye ''          -   '' Turkey ''

You can use your address instead of this address. You just need to use ''Adresim... then your address'' and you will finish your sentence. OK

Let's know the family

When you have asked many questions and learned many things about that person. and now you want to know about his family, You will definitely ask ''I want to know about your family'' Or maybe you will say, ''Tell me about your family'' So we will learn how to say these things.

Read the following carefully:

''Ailenizi taımak isterim''   -   ''I would like to know your family''
(formal)
''Aileni tanımak isterim''    -   ''I would like to know your family''
(informal)

''Aile'' = ''Family''   ''Ailenizi'' = ''Your family''
''Tanımak'' = ''To know''   ''isterim'' = ''I would like''

Now I will tell you how to say, ''This is my father, This is my mother, and so on''. So keep Reading 😊

''Bu benim Babam''       -    ''This is my Father''
''Bu benim Annem''       -    ''This is my Mother''
''Bu benim Kardeşim''   -    ''This is my sibling''

''Now I will just tell you the names of the family members so that you can use them whenever you want to use while talking about them with your friends or other relations. OK''

''Erkek kardeş''''Brother''   ''Erkek çocuk'' Or ''Oğlan'' - ''Son''
''Kız kardeş''     -  ''Sister''      ''Kız çocuk''  Or  ''kız''  - ''Daughter''

''Teyze''    -  ''Aunt (Mother's sister)''
''Hala''      -  ''Aunt (Father's sister)''
''Dayı''      -  ''Uncle (Mother's brother)
''Amca''    -  ''Uncle (Father's brother)
''Yenge''   -  ''Sister-in-law''
''Enişte''   -  ''Brother-in-law (Husband of elder sister or aunt)

''Kuzen''         -  ''Cousin''
''AnneAnne''  -  ''GrandMother''
''Dede''           -  ''GrandFather''

''Torun''   -   ''GrandDaughter''
''Torun''   -   ''GrandSon''

I have covered almost most commonly used words and phrases. You can talk like this whenever you want to talk about family members and yourself. Read them again and again if you want to memorize them well. and take notes while reading and learning these things. These will help you to improve your Turkish language. OK.
